Rebuilt and Revised After 1934 Fire

The east and west wings added per the Moore design in 1917 had third floor sections, so it was decided to extend the third floor completely across the building. It was at this time that architect [???] also had the "Great Truss" installed to provide robust support for the roof that spans the courtroom. The 1934 configuration of the courthouse had a long lifespan: from 1934 to 1980.
